First Meeting of the ASIS International Romania Chapter

The inaugural meeting of the new Romania Chapter was held on the 10th of October 2011. Mr. Traian Pometcu, Security Director of the National Bank of Romania, hosted the meeting at the National Bank HQ in Bucharest. After an introduction and some short presentations on ASIS International and its activities in the Region and in Europe, elections were held and the first Board of the ASIS Romania Chapter installed.

After the meeting, lunch was enjoyed at the classic and famous Caru' cu bere restaurant. I would like to thank the Romania Chapter members and the new Chapter's Board for their enthusiasm. A special word of appreciation to Mr. Dan Belai for initiating the new Chapter and to Mr. Traian Pometcu and the Romanian National Bank for their exceptional hospitality.
