There are two ways to apply for membership: Use the links below to apply for membership online through the ASIS Store or complete a PDF version of the membership application and mail or fax your application. Note: Membership approval takes approximately one week.

Membership is individual and is not transferable from one person to another. Dues are non-refundable.

Classes of Membership:

Member: Professional in an executive, managerial, supervisory, or responsible charge position who is primarily responsible for the security function of their organisation.

Associate: Individual with professional interest in security, seeking the educational benefits provided by membership in ASIS.

Member Fees:

• New Member: USD 170
• July 1 through September 30, half-year dues: USD 95

A new dues year begins October 1, when the price becomes USD 170. This price covers the remainder of the calendar year and all of the following calendar year. Please note that additional chapter dues may apply.

Student Member: Full-time student actively pursuing a security-related degree. Student membership is not available to those who would otherwise qualify as a regular member.

• Student Member Fee: USD 25 
• After July 1st, half-year dues: USD 15
